AG Eric Holder’s feverish bromance with Al Sharpton is borderline nauseating. Is there nothing – decency, justice, simple honor – that isn’t trumped by naked political expediency in this administration? CNS offers the money quote from Holder’s speech at race-hustler Sharpton’s National Action Network conference on Wednesday:
“At the opening of NAN’s 14th annual convention in Washington, D.C., the attorney general first thanked MSNBC’s Rev. Sharpton “for your partnership, your friendship, and your tireless efforts to speak out for the voiceless, to stand up for the powerless, and to shine a light on the problems we must solve, and the promises we must fulfill.”
Refresh your memory of Sharpton’s many appalling “tireless efforts” and the human collateral damage he inflicted with his relentless self-promotion in fighting for the “rights” of fake victims Tawana Brawley, Crystal Magnum, etc. (none of which he’s ever apologized for, BTW) and ask yourself, “Is there no bottom to how low these guys will go to get re-elected?” The answer, sadly, appears to be “no” (Full story under the MOST INDECENT RACE MONGERS heading to the left).
Side note; according to the White House log, Sharpton’s visited there more times than General Petraeus. But of course, the General doesn’t speak for an important reelection demographic.
